About

The Family Webb is a fictional, audio drama series about the members of the Webb family. But the stories in this series are not told chronologically. We start out by throwing you right into a Thanksgiving with the family, but subsequent episodes will jump backward and forward in time, telling unique stories, from different points of view, while filling in pieces to the overall puzzle that is this family’s story.

Characters

Molly Webb is the matriarch of the Webb family. She’s calling the shots (or at least trying to), and keeping the family together whether they like it or not.

Played by the fantastic Cathy Kelly, who gives an powerful performance as Molly. Cathy is an actor, singer, and prominent figure in the local acting community.

Allen Webb is the father of the Webb family. He works as a handyman, servicing rental properties, and very much enjoys fixing things. He’s always found that things are so much easier to fix than people.

Allen is played by Sam Shick, a remarkably versatile actor. He keeps us laughing behind the scenes before snapping into character and delivering a powerfully dramatic performance.

You can hear and see more of his work at his website: samshick.com

Terrence Webb is the oldest of the four Webb children. He is married to Esmé. He is an aspiring and maybe even talented writer, but has yet to make a successful career of it.

Terrence is played by Michael Aardal, a definitely talented actor who devotes much of his time to our local theater, acting, directing, and supporting shows throughout the year.

Esmé Dubois Webb is married to Terrence. She grew up in France, but has lived in the states since she came to study in college. She’s smart, level-headed, and has an important-sounding job that the rest of the family pretends to understand.

Played by the gifted Tiffany Agena, who miraculously appeared when the question was asked, “Who can do an accent?” and yet again when asked, “Who has kids that can act?”

Walter Webb is the second Webb child. He’s struggled most of his life with anxiety and depression. He is, or once was a talented piano player, though he has been long out of practice.

Walter is played by the incredible Steven Luksic – the most easy-going and down to earth guy until you give him a script, and then watch him dive into character!

Val Webb is the third Webb child. A self-proclaimed black sheep, she finds herself wandering in and out of the flock trying to decide if it’s truly worth the effort.

Val is played by the talented Ashley Luksic, who naturally blends drama and comedy in her performance, bringing a very real feel to her character.

Sophia Webb Morales is the 4th and youngest Webb child. She is married to Brian, and has two children, Claire and Oliver. She’d like to call herself a painter, because she likes painting. She’s even sold some work online, but most of her time and energy is taken up with momming.

Sophia is played by up-and-coming star Lauren Lusk, fresh off of leading roles in high school plays, and currently studying acting in a prestigious university. You can find more of her work on her imdb page

Brian Morales is married to Sophia and is father to Claire and Oliver. In many ways, Brian is just along for the ride when it comes to his relationship with his in-laws, but it’s not a ride he particularly enjoys riding.

Brian is played by the wonderful Sergio Bueno, who particularly shines in the moments we forced him to go against his natural, nice-dad tendencies and improvise as an angry, fed-up dad.

Claire and Oliver Morales are Sophia and Brian’s kids. They are both best friends and worst enemies depending on the circumstances.

Claire and Oliver are played by real-life siblings, Lily and Gideon Agena. Two adorable and talented children who improvised most of their lines, while sounding just like real children! (Which is a lot harder than it sounds).
